We strive to better the quality of life for underprivileged Children in Michigan.

Our Mission

Branches Crew is a registered tax exempt, non-profit humanitarian organization, led by volunteers. Our mission is to instill children with good morals, happiness, and the love they deserve. Branches strives to give children the tools and support they need to succeed and live an enriched life.

How Drop Offs Work

  1. Notify: First we get notified of a child in need by someone in the community. Then we will contact the child's guardian to obtain a list of needs.
  2. Collect: Next we gather the items from the list.
  3. Branch Out: Someone from the Branches team will drop of the package within days our initial contact. We try to accommodate the children as soon as possible.
  4. Follow Up: We follow up with the child's guardian within a few days of delivery.

Shaping Michigan Children's tomorrow.

What We've Accomplished:

  • Our initial Branching out started in 2011 when we helped transform the bedrooms of a prior men's shelter in Detroit into an appropriate shelter for women and children — Open Door Rescue Mission.
  • Our donation drop-off has helped over 300 children in need, specifically throughout Oakland and Macomb Counties.
  • Since 2013, our annual Christmas party has provided Christmas spirit and gifts to over 400 children and families in need.
  • More than 25 students have successfully completed our new free tutoring program since it launched mid-2016.
  • Branches Crew Float won 3rd Place in the 65th Annual Rochester Christmas Parade.
  • Throughout the years, we've continued to partner with other charities by volunteering to build our community, including Life Remodeled.
